Shepherds Skyline Race Report

Following the previous night’s club bowling, 5 Harriers were brave (foolish?) enough to venture over to Lumbutts to run the 21^st Shepherds Skyline race.

Race weather conditions were up to the usual standard for this one, a cold day with a hint of rain in the air; but unusually clear weather during the race with good visibility (though this just emphasised that Stoodley Pike really doesn’t get any nearer!).

Oh, and a little…urm…soft and slippy underfoot!!!

Fine performances by Ted (3^rd man) and Tamara (3^rd lady) continues to put Wharfedale in the news and event prizes. Recent convert to Wharfedale Andrew showed his mettle; another good run by Kevin who continues to improve; and a rather fine spilling of blood 300yards from the finish by Neil.

And great to see Paul R back on the fells, thanks for the piccies and videoing Paul - bring the footage along next Wednesday to show the rest of the gang what they missed!
