pass on the responsibility for organising the races to someone else. Chris Dodd, who is the Cowling Gala organiser wondered if anyone
at Wharfedale Harriers would like to take them on.
If anyone is interested, they can contact Chris Dodd on 07971 662332.

Note from Webmaster
If you are wondering why the web site has been so quiet for the past week, I have been in Italy visiting the family. Normally,
I keep updating the website whilst I am there, but this time, I never got the chance to get anywhere near a computer. So, there will be
a bit of catching up to do before normal service is resumed.

Someone has made a video of night running and are trying to sell it. If the trailer is anything to go by, there are much better

James Hall - New Under 16 Record

Ian Holmes is still on top of his game, and following on from his win at the Coledale Horseshoe at the weekend, he again proved
his incredible ability by winning this race also.
There were 36 Wharfedalers out in this race and thus too numerous to mention each one individually. However, one performance that
stood out was that of James Hall. He is still an U16, yet he led all the Wharfedalers home, finishing in 8th position overall out of
288 starters and at the same time breaking the Under 16 Record by a considerable margin.
Not so long ago, many Wharfedalers used to make the trip up to the Lakes for this classic race. We do not know how many entered
this year, but we do know that Judy Howells and Raj Madhas had a go. Further details follow as soon as they are available.
