Good Results for Wharfedale Runners
The race was won by Karl Gray, who won last week's Tour of Pendle. On the ascent, he was being chased by Mark Horrocks and Ted, who looked
to be struggling a bit, was in sixth place. On the descent, the places remained unchanged, but Ted suddenly got into his stride and started
moving up the field to end in second place. Ted did well, as Mark had a good lead on him as they left Rough Holden. Owen Bielby also had
a sterling run, coming home in seventh place. Tamara Hird had another fine run and took the prize for being first lady, coming 37th overall.
All the Wharfedale runners put in good performances right down the field. There was no actual team prize but Wharfedale were first team with
12 points, followed by Keighley & Craven with 15. Calder were third team with 63 points.

Chevin Chase - Boxing Day
James Wadsworth is flying in from Italy especially for this event. His brother Sam will also be running. If anyone else
fancies running off the overindulgences of Christmas Day, entries must be in for 9 December (sooner if the limit is reached).
